what stays in your browser
The fit checker evaluates selected public configuration and workload records in your browser. It does not ask for machine names, IP addresses, repository data, home addresses, camera locations, media filenames, or account credentials. The selected stack and generated explanation are not sent to a Super Evil Robots application server.
A share action encodes only public record IDs and preset assumptions after the # in the URL. Browser fragments are not included in normal HTTP requests or referrer headers. The analytics opt-out is retained in localStorage. Clear this site's stored data in your browser to remove that choice.
ordinary site measurement
On a public release, ordinary pages load Google Analytics 4 by default to measure aggregate visits and coarse actions such as starting the checker, resolving a hardware record, generating a fit result, opening evidence, deliberately opening a comparison takeaway, sharing a build, following an internal link, or opening an external source. Preview and private-release builds do not contain the production Google tag. Google Analytics can set first-party measurement cookies. Blocking analytics below prevents new measurement in this browser but does not itself erase cookies or data already sent.
Events contain the page path and low-cardinality action or result categories. They do not include the complete build, URL query strings or fragments, custom text, machine names, private network details, media names, camera details, or generated explanations. GA page location and referrer are deliberately reduced to origin and path, with query strings and fragments removed.
The production GA4 stream is required to keep the Enhanced Measurement master switch off. That disables automatic browser-history page changes, scrolls, outbound clicks, site search, video engagement, file downloads, and form interactions. The standard page view sent by the installed tag remains, using the sanitized location and referrer above. This prevents automatic enhanced events from bypassing the site's smaller event allowlist.
Cloudflare serves the site and may process normal web-request information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals in its infrastructure logs.

Links to official documentation and other sources leave this site and follow the destination's privacy terms. If collection changes materially, this page will change before the new behavior ships.
The brand-owned private contact channel is not configured, so the release remains blocked. Do not post personal information in a public issue. See the correction protocol for the information that will be required once the channel opens.
